.:Rules and Guidelines:.
"A few strong instincts and a few plain rules suffice us."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
The Chimera storyline was created for many reasons. The first being a place where creative people who enjoy writing and roleplaying have an outlet that promotes rather than strangles their own characters' growth.
Let me explain what that means. Within this storyline the players function as a unit, a family, if you will. However, each writer is encouraged to interact with others, to expand their own character's life and livelihood. Everything does not have to centerpoint an idea generated by the storyline heads.
We encourage spontaneity in your roleplaying. Grab some people, open the room and play. We want everyone in this storyline to have fun. To enjoy their time online, and the experience of writing and creating a valid and very visual 'world' with others who want the same thing.
However, yes, we do have a few guidelines we would like followed when using the Agency as your backdrop of creative expression. Rules are made to be followed, but if something happens we feel warrants an expansion or addition of another rule, we will not hesitate to change them accordingly.
All that said...read on. Acknowledge that you've read things by simply doing what's asked. We're here to have fun just as much as those joining the storyline. We don't really want to have to crack a whip on anyone. We leave that for our characters. Heh.
